Introducing Around Town, a engaging series of immersive tours, where CREW LA members and friends learn more about iconic neighborhoods in Los Angeles. 

First up is Chinatown—Join us for an unforgettable journey guided by Eugene Moy, renowned for his expertise in Chinatown, as we explore the rich history and important matters that affect this vibrant neighborhood, while taking in architecture, food, and culture.

Chinatown Historical Society of Southern California

Eugene is a retired urban planner born in LA Chinatown and raised in South LA. He is a community leader, serving on the board of directors of the LA Chinatown Community Land Trust, Chinese Historical Society of Southern California, and the Chinese American Museum. He’s also a past president of the Chinese American Citizens Alliance. He has been involved in Chinatown history for more than 40 years, and leads historical walking tours of the neighborhood.
