Join CREW Orlando in a discussion on the causes and influences perpetuating distress in various asset classes, with a particular focus on multi-family and office properties. Panelists will provide insight on the impact of interest rates and other market stressors. Additionally, we will explore examples of creative solutions through financing and development that owners are using to turn properties into performing assets.

Christyne Albury
Vice President Corporate Real Estate

Christyne has been active in Central Florida’s commercial real estate industry for nearly two decades. She lends significant experience in dispositions, acquisitions, lease negotiations, development, site acquisition, entitlements/feasibility, capitalization strategies, and project management. 

She now serves as Vice President of Corporate Real Estate at Truist Bank, after the merger between SunTrust and BB&T in December 2019. Truist is one of the nation’s leading financial servicers providing deposit, credit and trust, and investment services to a broad range of retail, business and institutional clients. Starting in 2009 with SunTrust, she has served in various real estate roles and has developed and executed a strategic plan for commercial REO/ORE properties in the southeast (10 states), negotiated and closed more than 500 transactions totaling more over $450 million in value and asset managed an ever-changing, mixed-use portfolio of challenged properties including office, retail, industrial, residential developments and specialty single-purpose assets. At Truist, she has managed the retail network portfolio in the southeast and currently serves in a key role for corporate real estate in managing a disposal portfolio across the US for both retail and office properties.

Prior to joining SunTrust, Christyne served as director of real estate acquisitions for the world’s largest vacation ownership business, where she negotiated and executed purchase and sale agreements for resort properties valued at more than $54.4 million and totaling 118 units.

Additionally, for 10 years she served as director of acquisitions for the third largest healthcare REIT in the U.S., where she directly acquired $1.8 billion in assets consisting of medical/professional office buildings, inpatient/rehabilitation facilities, specialty hospitals, and independent and assisted living facilities.

Christyne holds bachelor’s degree in legal studies from the University of Central Florida, as well as her Florida real estate sales associate license.

In the community, Christyne is an active member of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Orlando, and served on that Board for five (5) years. In 2015, she served as CREW Orlando’s President and 2016 as Immediate Past President. Prior to holding executive positions on the Board, as a former director of CREW Orlando, she successfully launched the organization’s UCREW initiative in 2012- a community outreach program for college students considering career opportunities in commercial real estate.

Noni Holmes-Kidd
Chief Legal Officer

Noni Holmes-Kidd is Chief Legal Officer of Parkway, a fully diversified real estate investment, operations, and management firm with over 30 million square feet of assets under management, including developments in progress. As Chief Legal Officer, Noni is responsible for all legal and compliance matters and manages and oversees risk management and other company operations. Noni is a frequent speaker at national conferences on topics ranging from real estate trends to ESG initiatives. Prior to joining Parkway, Noni worked in the corporate securities group at Hogan Lovells US LLP (“Hogan”) in Washington, D.C., and following her time at Hogan, was an Associate at Promontory Financial Group in Washington, D.C. She has been named a “Woman to Watch” by the Orlando Business Journal (“OBJ”) and one of OBJ’s 40 under 40. Noni has also received the I-4 Business Emerging Leader Award, and was named one of Emory University’s 40 under Forty Alumni in 2022 and Kayo’s Top 23 women in REITs in 2023. Noni serves on the executive committee of the Emory University College Alumni Board and is Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Orlando Shakespeare Theater. Noni earned a B.A. from Emory University and a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.

Robbie McEwan
Senior Director

Robbie is a Senior Director with the Orlando office of JLL Capital Markets, Americas. He joined JLL as part of the HFF acquisition and has worked in the commercial real estate industry since 2008. He specializes in office and industrial investment advisory transactions across Central and North Florida with a focus on the Orlando, Jacksonville and Tampa markets. Over the course of his career, Robbie has closed more than $1 billion in commercial real estate transactions. He is a Certified Commercial Investment Member and the former president of the CCIM Central Florida District as well as a member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors. He is also a proud, fourth generation Orlando native.

Melissa Quinn
Senior Managing Director

Melissa joined JLL in 2021 as Senior Managing Director and Co-head of central Florida capital markets team. Prior to joining JLL she was managing director/SVP of NorthMarq’s Orlando office. She joined there in 2004 and quickly became one of the company’s top real estate investment bankers specializing in the origination of Debt, Joint Venture Equity and Structured Finance. Throughout the course of her career Melissa has been involved with billions of dollars in institutional commercial real estate transaction across the country with a particular specialization in multifamily (both market rate and affordable housing) and a top Agency producer. She has originated transactions within 15 different states and the District of Columbia.
